Our first press conference was held May 30th in Tallahassee when we unveiled our first billboard. What a wonderful way to honor our son, Kris. We must say thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to attend our press conference and for CAPITAL CITY HARLEY for suppling the motorcycles for us to do our photos on. Scott we appreciate all you have done for us and we appreciate everything you did to make sure this press conference was a success.
Our Guest Speakers were: Florida Highway Patrolman, Major Ernie Duarte, Leon County Sheriff Larry Campbell, Tallahassee Police Chief Dennis Jones, President/CEO Hanson Pipe & Precast America: Richard Manning (Harley Rider), and President of Souteast Region for Hanson: Joan Blecha.

Legislative Issues:
We'd like to see stiffer laws for those who kill our fellow Motorcyclist when:
Failing to yield
Running Lights
Drinking and Driving
Using the Excuse: I didn't see them
Careless Driving
We know that in 2008 all future motorcyclist will have to take the safety course prior to getting a motorcycle endorsement. No more permits/tests given at driverlicense offices. This bill needs a name and not a number, a name such as Kris McElhenny Bill, considering he was given the wrong test and missed out on this opportunity to have the proper motorcycle endorsement. So show your support, contact the following: (contact person coming soon)

REMINDER: July 1, 2008 the new law should come into effect for ALL future riders must take the Florida Riders Safety Course in order to get their Endorcements.
